When you’ve been dumped or you just broke up with your boyfriend/girlfriend, you’re probably thinking about the relationship coming to an end.
Maybe you now realize the part you played in your relationship crashing and burning, or perhaps you dumped your guy for a petty reason that you now regret.
At this point, you find yourself wanting to get your ex to miss you. If revenge is your motivation, it’s probably a bad idea. However, if you’re trying to get the person to miss you so you can get back together, you may succeed.
To rekindle the romance with your ex, you have to make him/her miss you. He/she should be constantly dreaming about you, every song he hears reminds him of you, she should be thinking about you at all hours of the day, wondering what you’re doing and who you’re doing it with, and most of all, he/she should be begging you to get back together.
- Hit where it hurts; Never acknowledge his/her birthday
Breakup is followed by a time when you are forced to make a decision on whether to acknowledge your ex or not during a major holiday or his/her birthday.
Don’t earn yourself a reason to slap face for even justifying the need to send him a “Happy President’s Day” tweet. Send out the message to your ex that you have moved on by refusing to acknowledge him/her on days that are important such as a birthday or graduation ceremonies.
- Embrace Big Change
Shake him/her by doing something completely out of the ordinary that you didn’t or would have never done while you were together. Pack up and move to a new place, town or city, sell your old car and buy a new vehicle you’ve been dreaming for years.
Doing this simply sends a signal to your ex that you’re moving forward with your life, and in return, it will trigger a reaction out of him! He will definitely want to be a part of the big positive changes in your life.
- Start Making New Friends
Expanding your social life by making a few new friends will make your ex miss you. By expanding your circle, it will fill up your social calendar with various events and outings to keep you busy and to keep your mind off of your ex.
Having new friends shows him/her that you’re open to meeting new people, and sends a message that soon you will end up meeting someone else who can steal your heart
- Put your best foot forward
Reflect the new you by revamping your wardrobe as old clothes will not make him/her miss you. Make your ex do a double take by buying a new pair of fitted jeans that accentuate your curves, a few shirts that highlight your best assets, and some skirts that will put your legs on display.
He’ll do a double take when he sees you out and about in your new duds, triggering the emotion in him that not only reignites his attraction for you, but seeing you out looking and feeling fabulous will definitely make him miss you.
- Unfriend him/her on social media
Deny you ex the ability to take a peek into your live. Stop documenting every move you make on Instagram, Facebook and Snap chat, as this makes him/her learn more about you than you ever really wanted (or needed) to know.
Give your ex a swift kick to the chest: it’s blunt, and it’s painful. But it’s totally necessary if you want to have any chance of making him miss you so much that he starts begging for reconciliation. Cut him off from having that instant access to your life 24/7.
- Make Your Ex Insanely jealous
To avoid a backfire, do this cautiously and tread lightly. Makehim/her to take notice of you by showing up with a new date on your arm. Your ‘new moonlight’ doesn’t even have to be hot, and as a matter of fact, you don’t even have to like him/her. His/her purpose and one purpose only is just to make your ex insanely jealous.
Keep things platonic, and let your ex’s mind wander by avoiding stick your tongue down the poor guy’s throat or grope him right in front of your ex.
