Mr. Godfrey Kigochi, Kisii County Commissioner has blamed parents for casting their parental responsibility during school holidays.
“Honestly parents have failed in their responsibilities. It will be very difficult for us to monitor each household to determine which girl has moved out during the night” he said.
On his part, Mr Fred Nunda, Chairman of the county boda boda has cautioned the motorcycle operators on the risk of contracting sexually transmitted diseases due to the increased number of sex workers in the town.
Mr Nunda ruled out that riders who work late in night are the most vulnerable.
